Best friends should know…
Sometimes love surprises you because you’ve already fallen. This look into lives well lived but maybe not fully appreciated was so much fun. I want to enter a scavenger hunt like they were in. The small town came alive as all the fellow store owners and residents of Hadderville stepped in to help Alys, Maddox, and Onyx, The Wonderland Crew, compete in the contest. And what a contest, of course I looked up the album covers and could see in my mind what they were doing. But the realization of how much they meant to each other subtly coalesced into a certainty as they were busy living their lives. Misconceptions, angst, and feelings of less than make for a heartfelt yet fun read.
