Publisher Description
As an ancient Sumerian god, Sin was one of the most powerful among his pantheon. . . Until the night Artemis brutally stole his godhood and left him for dead. For millennia, this ex-god turned Dark-Hunter has dreamed only of regaining his powers and seeking revenge on Artemis. If only life were that simple.
Unfortunately he has bigger fish--or in Sin's case--demons, to fry. The lethal gallu that were buried by his pantheon are now stirring and they are hungry for human flesh. Their goal is to destroy mankind and anyone else who gets in their way. Sin is the only one who can stop them—that is if a certain woman doesn't kill him first. Unfortunately, Sin discovers that now he must rely on her or witness an annihilation of biblical proportions. Enemies have always made strange bedfellows, but never more so than when the fate of the world hangs in the balance. Now a man who knows only betrayal must trust the one person most likely to hand him to the demons. Artemis may have stolen his godhood, but this one has stolen his heart. The only question is will she keep it or feed it to the ones who want him dead?
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Sin, a Sumerian fertility god turned Vegas casino owner, and Kat, the zealous servant of bossy Greek goddess Artemis, knock boots and kick butt in Kenyon's juicy 11th Dark-Hunter paranormal love-fest (after 2006's Dark Side of the Moon). Sin's been on the warpath for thousands of years, since Artemis stole his godhood. Sin's also upset about the disappearance of his twin brother, Zakar, and the imminent invasion of the vampiric Sumerian gallu, who plan to liberate the Dimme superdemons and destroy all humanity. Kat agrees to kill Sin before he kills Artemis, but instead the two fall in madcap love while trying to prevent Armageddon. It's just another day's work for the immortals, who act a lot like ordinary quarrelsome people with way cool superpowers. Though readers may need a scorecard to keep up with the cast, this series puts a contemporary spin on classical mythology that an increasing number of fans have found irresistible. (Aug.)

Highly recommended
Sin is an ex-god who has a serious wish for vengeance against Artemis. Katra is sent by Artemis to kill him, but she has second thoughts after watching him for a time. When he realizes what Kat is, and why she was sent after him, he plans to use her to claim his vengeance. With the fate of the world hanging in the balance will they be able to put aside their problems to defeat the gallu demons Sin is charged with fighting? There are some revelations in this book that affect a well loved character, and I loved the banter between Simi and Xirena they are hilarious. This is another great read in the Dark-Hunter series.
Loved it!!
I adored Kat from the very first time she stepped on the scene! For the first little while I actually thought she'd be the one paired with Ash but in Seize the Night I started puzzling it out! I was SO happy when she found happiness and they found each other. She has such a bright spirit!
Different than Dark Hunters but as enjoyable
Loved the story line. Terrific twists and turns. Looking forward to reading the next book.
