fun sexy shifter tales
I've read and enjoyed a number of the BDSM books Tymber Dalton has written, though this is her first shifter book that I've tried and I really liked it. There are 6 stories with multiple couples and the stories flow well from one to another. Each couple had their own distinctive vibe and personality, but one thing was true for them all, their serious chemistry. This is a fun quick read that I highly recommend.

An anthology of paranormal shapeshifter erotic romance stories by the incomparable Tymber Dalton!
Doggy Tales is a short anthology of five stories by Tymber Dalton. It's an incredible collection of five paranormal shapeshifter erotic romance stories that I flew through in no time at all. The stories are linked by common characters but each is unique in its own way. I absolutely loved each one of these stories, but then again I am very partial to paranormal and shapeshifter stories with elements of erotic romance thrown in. As these are all short stories. I can't give much away about any of them so I've decided to focus on the first and last stories in the collection. The first is titled Dog Walk. Ivan Biendino needs a run, and not just a run on a treadmill or a jog down some hiking trail. His boss has given him the morning off, and he decides to go to the largest park closest to his home and work, Ivan's a shapeshifter. He needs to escape the city, needs the freedom and openness of nature around him. So he drives to Hillsborough River State Park near Tampa to run in his shifted form, to feel the freedom of tracking, running, being free in the wild. Lindsey Martinez has recently returned to Tampa, where she was raised, after spending five years in Vancouver, Washington. Hillsborough Park is one of her favorite places to spend time. That same morning she decides to go for a run in the park. It's been so long since she's been there. Little does she know what's waiting for her there. As Ivan's and Lindsey's paths cross, totally unexpected events occur. Outside forces try to intervene, putting both in harm's way. There's not just danger, but terror and life-threatening situations. Completely unexpected circumstances occur that will change both Ivan's and Lindsey's lives in ways they never could have possibly expected. The action is non-stop. The romance is over-the-top hot. And the ending will leave you breathlessly anticipating the next story in the series. The second story I'll review, which is the last in the collection, is titled A Nearly Cat-astrophic Christmas. It's nearly Christmas, Tessa and Scudder Harris are throwing their first Christmas party as a couple. Tessa is nervous about the mixture of shapeshifters and unknowing humans who will be present. But as the evening progresses, Tessa relaxes. That is, until she sees her cousin, Kaylie, cozied up with a blond-haired, blue-eyed hunk. Frank Biendino is, coincidentally, Ivan's cousin. Tessa freaks out because Kaylie knows nothing about shapeshifters but Scudder calms her. What can happen in just one night? But the attraction between Frank and Kaylie is strong. Kaylie hasn't just had a lot of bad luck in the romance department. She's never really had any kind of luck with men at all. Now she thinks she's finally found a nice, hunky, normal man who isn't a freak. Boy, can first impressions be so very wrong! As the relationship between Frank and Kaylie starts to look extremely promising, disaster strikes. Frank's convinced that Kaylie's the one for him. But, again, the totally unexpected happens, taking the reader on a roller coaster ride of emotions, unforeseen events, fear, terror, and a totally unpredictable finale. The ending of this anthology is every bit as thrilling and satisfying as all the other stories in the collection. I absolutely loved this short anthology. It once again shows Tymber Dalton's creativity and talent in crafting absolutely delightful and charming paranormal stories with adventure, action, and erotic romance thrown in. She is a master storyteller, and Doggy Tales is just another example of her incredible talent. One final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language, and sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy erotic romance with explicit sexual scenes then PLEASE carefully think before buying a book you won't enjoy. There are always synopses and reviews available on Goodreads, Facebook review pages, and every booksellers' website. PLEASE use these resources so you're certain the book you're buying is one you want to read. PLEASE DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. IT'S NOT FAIR TO THE AUTHOR! She works extremely hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to the subject matter before you buy a book, you're doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice. But if you enjoy erotic paranormal/shapeshifter romances full of charm and enchanting twists and turns throughout, I give my Doggy Tales a unequivocal five-star rating. It's a delightful short anthology by Tymber Dalton, and I adored it. I think you will too. Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!
