Fate gives you a do over
Strong believable characters fill this story. Life would be perfect if it were perfect. The question is, this story is, when life is far from perfect how do we face it ,accept it and change the outcome. That is : Falling for my nurse, It is book 2 in the 2nd chance romance series by Theresa Paolo . Most times in a series I review my recommendation is that it can be read as a stand alone. This is not one of those times. Falling for my ex, book 1 is a beautiful story. Most definitely read it first, it make this story flow with much needed background information Josh and Kat are young. Young for intense love. Their journeys have been filled with intense pain and loss. Fate has given them the chance for a do over. A chance to change the outcome .. do it alone? Or together. It always help when there’s the magic of love. A wonderful story. You will smile lots and love this series
Sweet second chance
Sweet second chance romance between 20-ish year olds, Kat and Josh. Josh is back staying at home after being shot in the leg from a shooter at his college. His nurse helping him around the house ends up being his ex-girlfriend, Kat, who he still wants. Josh is dealing with not being able to fully walk, some PTSD from the incident, and some issues between Kat and Him. This story is all in Josh’s POV. I prefer dual POV; I like to have more depth to the characters, but I enjoyed the story. Josh is likable; less mention of his party boy ways would’ve been preferable, but he’s a nice guy and really supportive towards Kat. Kat is likable too; her constant subject changes because she didn’t want to talk are annoying, but I liked her. I would’ve liked a bit more tension surrounding the incident Kat went through, but the story is an entertaining one. Good chemistry and steam between Josh and Kat too! Overall, a sweet, heartfelt romance!
