Finding Ashlyn
This book was slower moving. Did not catch and hold my interest like the other books in the series.
Both Ash and Slate were mysteries. I feel there was more to their stories that was not explained. Ash was over caring, independent, wore a mask of her true feelings.
Slate too had some secrets that ran deep.
Again, the brotherhood of the seal team was beyond amazing.
Fear for james nearly causes Ashlyn and Slate their lives. True love and fate is a strong commitment. Can’t wait to read Baker’s story.
Tears ran down my cheek, so good
I own 90% of all Stoker’s book and only 2 have Meade me cry, big crocodile tears. This book is one of them. I LOVE. This book and beautiful build up to friends, friends with benefits, to soul mates that are by your side telling you to not give up. Second best story I’ve read to date!
Can’t Believe It’s almost Over
Slate and Ashlyn move forward, at last, from their “pulling pigtails” phase and things amp up rapidly. With their friends with benefits deal, the chemistry finally ignites, but so too does their personal connection. What remains to be seen is whether or not they’ll realize the truth before it’s too late. I really enjoyed this book, but with only one more book in the series, it made me sad too.
