Something borrowed. Something blue. Someone's dead.
For Sandie James, working at her sister's bakery is a way to pay off college debt while her literature degree collects dust. But when she accepts a last-minute wedding booking, she doesn't expect the chaotic night to end in murder.
When a guest is found dead, and her father is standing over the body with the murder weapon, Sandie will stop at nothing to prove her dad's innocence. Especially if she can get a little help from Marlowe, the family's springer spaniel, who is all too eager to leap into the action.
With rumors breeding fear and the killer still on the loose, it's a race against time to clear Dad's name and find the killer before the killer finds her.
If you enjoy the thrilling mystery of Agatha Christie's novels, you'll love this suspenseful, fast-paced cozy mystery.

Murder mystery? Yessss
I loved this book. It was beautifully written to keep me wanting to read more. I read this book so fast that I read it again just to make sure I didn’t miss anything. LOVE this book.
A Great First Effort.
I think this book and it’s Writer deserve a certain amount of respect for diving into this Nancy Drew esque idea and making it a series. It seems like she’s had some success. I just can’t say that this book intrigued me or got very exciting. Much of it had to do with her dating life and desires having to do with that. Some characters weren’t fleshed out or were just really unlikable for no reason. I’m not saying it’s bad… but, I probably wouldn’t read the sequel.
A great mystery!
I loved this book! It kept me entertained and interested throughout. With there being so many important characters, they were described, in both physical appearance and personality, in such a thorough, realistic manner. The personalities were in line the entire time, I could see them being real people. It was such a great story to follow and I was thankfully surprised by the ending. I would definitely recommend this book to other readers.
