Customer Reviews
A touching portrait of true heroism in the face of tragedy...
I don’t consider this book a thriller or a horror novel, although I can see how others might. To me, this is a heartbreaking, but also uplifting, story of two kindhearted teenagers, and their attempts to help save lives and comfort survivors when a disaster happens in their hometown. Would you have the courage to do the simple, yet extraordinary things that might determine what a hero really is if a plane crashed in your small town? Caroline B. Cooney’s wonderful drama might help you answer that question!
