Absolutely Magical
Honestly I had been in a bit of a slump with not picking very good books. But this one! And honestly I don’t give out 5 stars easily unless I’m in love.
From the cover to the back was filled with such a magical journey, that dealt with some heavy topics. This book was a good, short read. I felt drawn in but it was short enough for me to read in a few days. The author had a way to keep it light, even though dealing with dark thoughts. I love that this book dabbled in self doubt, and even parental doubt with other characters. One of my favorite parts about this book was the inclusion of what the flowers meanings were as they appeared in the book. It was a cute love story inside the magic journey to bless her father back to health, and the fact he never gave up hope for his little witch was just heart melting. Plus the rediscovery of friends to lovers and overcoming Xavier’s secret and his fears. Only thing I wish is we got to explore more of Clara’s mother and her coven, but it leaves room for another book in the future if she wishes. Still was a good enough ending to be THE END.
