Publisher Description
Nailing a murderer is difficult… but so is dealing with a cranky talking dog.
When the owner of Hammer and Nail Hardware is found dead, Gina's most loyal customer, Erika, becomes the prime suspect.
Despite having every reason to kill Molly Burton, Erika vehemently denies involvement and pleads with Gina to help uncover the real murderer. With almost all evidence pointing to Erika, Gina and her talking dog, Daisy, along with Deputy Trevor Hutchinson, delve into the secrets concealed behind the aisles of the hardware store. However, the clues they unearth leave them with more questions than answers.
Adding to the chaos, Gina takes in a bonded pair of dogs who prefer solitude. Daisy is determined to break them up, despite Gina's pleas to let them be.
As danger escalates, can Gina and Daisy hammer out the details and expose the true murderer?

Daisy is the Star!
Furballs and Fatalities: A Talking Dog Cozy Mystery is book #3 in the Heywood Hounds Cozy Mysteries series by Carly Winter.
This is such a fun series. I can relate to Gina and I adore Daisy. She is dramatic and adds a lot of humor. This was an interesting mystery because no one was quite what they seemed. I enjoy Trevor and Gina working together I was completely surprised by who the guilty party was. And the bombshell at the end has me anxious for the next book!

Fabulous story !
There’s been another murder in Heywood and though Gina doesn’t know the victim she gets dragged into the investigation when one of her clients refuses to speak to anyone but her. What seems at once cut and dry turns out to be a bit more complicated or is it? So many suspects, so many motives how will Gina get to the bottom of this one?
Great story and I loved the complex simplicity of it. Really loved that we got some Annabelle shenanigans too!! The little subplot with Daisy and the two new rescues was wacky fun. A completely enjoyable story!.

Fun book!
Another fun story in the series by Carly Winters.
Gina and her talking dog, Daisy, are once again getting involved in investigating a murder. When Erika is accused of murdering one of the owners at her job, Gina can’t stop herself from getting involved.
Sometimes Gina wonders if she’s crazy thinking she can hear her dog talking.
So many suspects so little evidence to go on.
