Publisher Description
Jillian Nejat is the only dating and relationship expert on the planet who is incapable of speaking to men. If they're living, if they're breathing, it's game over.
With her bank account at zero, her career a dumpster fire, and her dating life in a ten-year slump, she moves into a tiny, dirt-cheap NYC apartment.
Unfortunately, the apartment is already occupied.
Daniel (no-last-name) is a sexy, shirtless, six-pack wielding heartthrob who is also…dead.
He isn't living. He isn't breathing. He's a ghost. He's also the only man on the planet who Jillian can talk to.
Soon, Daniel's convinced that it's his afterlife mission to resurrect Jillian's love life. He knows, if he helps her fall in love then he can move on. Jillian agrees. The last thing she needs is a Lothario ghost haunting her living room.
But then, one practice date leads to another, one confession leads to more, and suddenly Jillian fears she's falling for the one man she can never have.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Love defies the barrier between life and death in Sarah Ready’s heartfelt supernatural romance. Jillian Nejat talks a lot about men in her dating advice column, but she finds it much harder to speak to them in real life. That starts to change when she discovers that Daniel, the hot, sex-obsessed former tenant of her new apartment, is still living there…as a ghost. Daniel becomes Jillian’s dating coach, tutoring her in the art of flirting and giving a thumbs up or down to potential boyfriends. As the spark between these two characters grows, we found ourselves rooting for them to give into their supernatural, sensual connection. (Ummm, Daniel can’t eat real food as a ghost but he can still taste it through Jillian.) This sweet, spooky tale is a treat.
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Ready (French Holiday) delights with this offbeat paranormal romance. Nerdy 27-year-old Jillian Nejat is the dating and relationship writer for a gossip site, The Daily Exposé, despite her "terminal inability" to even hold a conversation with a man. She's just moved into a heavily mirrored Manhattan studio—Star Trek memorabilia in tow—when a stranger named Daniel appears in her apartment. Turns out he's a ghost who haunts the place. It's a setup that's surprisingly useful: Daniel, a wealthy playboy in life, offers Jillian story ideas and dating advice to keep her readership from dropping. As they grow closer, Jillian can't help falling in love with the specter—until, in a shocking series of reveals, Jillian discovers exactly why Daniel has been appearing to her. Ready's twisty plot keeps readers guessing how this couple could possibly reach a happy ending. Meanwhile, a first-rate cast of supporting characters—especially cranky psychic Zelda Vertuse and Jillian's bestie, Serena—add charm. Ashley Poston fans will want to check this out.

Since this was a new author for me I really didn’t know what to expect. And a story about falling in love with a ghost ? Not my type of book at all. Book reading is my passion and I’ve switched genres a few times. Since today’s world is so gloomy I have been reading a lot of romcoms. Read the synopsis and thought, why not ?
I got into this story and couldn’t put it down. I was so afraid of the ending because I began to believe it was all a possibility. That’s how well the story was written. I will be reading more books by this author.
Not bad
It was a cute story, halfway through it got kind of *yawn* but overall 3.5.
I read Ghosted twice! Loved it!
