Mystery reader
The book was good, Ella is strong thinking one moment and then becomes more of an adolescent in her thought process. Bothers me a bit. Book wasn’t spellbinding but still a simple read!
Girl, Vanished
I have read nearly 80 books by Blake Pierce. Blake writes them so quickly, it’s understandable when they have something of a formula to them. Even so, I like and appreciate all of her characters. Each leading lady has one or more ionteresting quirks which mandate elements of the story, but the quirks are so interesting and so helpful in the pursuit of the culprits that, for me, they hold interest quite well, and I look forward to how the protagonist uses her gifts to prosecute the next investigation.
Vanished .. eventually
I love the relationship with Ella & Mia. This novel kept them at bay, and I found it a bit challenging to get through the case. From my lens, the interaction, friction and frustration as Dark & Mia grow in relationship keeps me invested.
