Golda Blum, Soothsayer

Golda is a young Jewish girl gifted with a sixth sense, an ability to look into and predict the future of any one she touches. She inherited this gift of prophecy from her Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry and the Gypsies who traveled around Eastern Europe putting on puppet shows, dancing to old Gypsy folk music, and fortune-telling. But her prescient mind takes her on a whirlwind journey between unbridled happiness and utter despair as her visions unfold future events for her friends, her family and her guests.
