Halifax Public Art

Halifax is an artistic community that celebrates its distinguished history, traditions, and ambitions with Public Art.  But it wasn’t always that way - a hundred years ago there was very little Public Art in the city.  No abstract sculpture, no murals, no “things” at street corners or building entrances, and certainly graffiti was not considered artwork at all.  Have a look at how things have changed!
