When a Halloween Party turns deadly, it falls to Hercule Poirots to unmask a murderer in Agatha Christie’s classic murder mystery, Hallowe’en Party.
At a Halloween party, Joyce—a hostile thirteen-year-old—boasts that she once witnessed a murder. When no one believes her, she storms off home. But within hours her body is found, still in the house, drowned in an apple-bobbing tub.
That night, Hercule Poirot is called in to find the `evil presence'. But first he must establish whether he is looking for a murderer or a double-murderer...

Good but sad- Spoiler
I figured this one out. It was funny to see the author as a character. But …spoiler alert- I didn’t like reading about a child’s death. Some books haunt you afterwards and this one did because of that.
As Always, the Book is Better
For whatever reason, I have resisted reading the Christie books that I have already seen dramatized via the Poirrot & Marple series. But but as I have run through both the books and series, I’ve started reading those books as well. The Hallowe’en Party is one that is faithful to the book for the most part and keeps you on the edge of your seat.
The Halloween Party
I had forgotten how much fun it is to read the Poirot series. After watching the beloved tv series, it’s fun to go back and read these books. Certain characters are so much more alive.
