Excitement, danger and swoons
I enjoyed Darius and Aislinn’s love story that had shades of Romeo and Juliet. Aislinn is the daughter of the general in charge of the Human First organization. They want shifters and other supernaturals annihilated. Darius is the Alpha of the North American pack. When Daruis and his wolves arrive for peace talks with the general he immediately realizes Aislinn is his mate. When the peace talks start with an attempted poisoning, Darius grabs Aislinn as a hostage to help them get safely away but also because he cannot walk away from her. To get to their HEA, Darius and Aislinn will need to deal with the prejudice between the factions, try to stop an all out war, and figure out away to have forever together. The story includes sweet moments, steamy scenes, dangerous moments, loyal friends and family, difficult back stories, love, fated mates, political machinations, and even some laughs. While short, the story included witty dialogue, three dimensional characters, and an engaging storyline. 3.75 stars. I am looking forward to reading more in this series.

I received an ARC eBook in exchange for an honest review. This is the second book I have read by Tabitha Conall and the second in her Colliding Worlds series! I just love her righting style! I was immediately invested in Darius and Aislinn's story from the first page and found myself continually flipping pages to find out what happened next!! Hot sexy alpha finds his mate in his adversary's daughter! This is a wonderfully passionate & steamy shifter read that I highly recommend!!
