Loved it
This was my favorite in the series. (Javi and Aerin are a very close second). So much chemistry between these two. I love the flirty banter and a reformed playboy!
An okay light-hearted story
Even though I’ve read this second and out of sequence of the Longhorn book series, I thought Beau and Piper’s fake relationship turned into a real one was an okay light-hearted story. As before, it started really slow with the usual will they or won’t they get together for real. Sure, there’s plenty of push and pull between them as well as three ‘steamy moments’ behind closed doors in the bedroom or living room!!? At least, it’s much better than Stealing Home. Beau and Piper didn’t irritate me like it did with Dylan and Maggie.

Loved the characters and their coming together, with the male sacrificing a better financial contract to be with his love. Would have given it a 5 star rating except for the language and explicit open door sex scenes.
Romance in a book should be more more than descriptive sex. Romance and love should include a little mystic and respect for the physical union.
