Dalton Barnett
Heaven Hill is my home. They took me in when no one else would, introduced me to my family, and have always been here for me. But now I'm on the outside, not able to help the woman who has my heart.
I'm stuck, unsure of what to do, and struggling badly.
If anyone should be able to make their wife happy, it's their husband right?
Amanda Barnett
Born a bastard, raised a Walker, and now a Barnett, I've never quite known who I am. Not until someone called me Mom.
In the aftermath of the biggest deception our club has ever faced, Dalton and I are trying to cope with the miscarriage of our child. The piece of light and hope we had at the end of the darkest times Heaven Hill has ever seen was snatched from us, and even though I'm trying to cope. It's not going well.
Gone are my feelings of belonging.
Gone is my excitement to face another day.
In it's place, I'm hollow.

FINALLY GETTING MANDY’S STORY!
FINALLY GETTING MANDY’S STORY! After all 10 of the short stories to tide us over I was so excited to finally get my hands on this book and see what ended up happening with Mandy. This book was definitely different than the typical MC story, but it was so good! Focusing on Mandy’s attempted suicide and her time in treatment, as well as Dalton’s POV (and a few from Walker). With everything going on in the world, this book just hit differently (in a good way) and really related to not only myself but also a lot of other people. I couldn’t get enough of this book – I read it in one sitting! There were so many different aspects of the story – from Mandy’s recovery to her rebuilding her relationship and marriage with Dalton, and even rebuilding her relationship with her son and the rest of the MC and her family! While this book wasn’t focused on any new characters or storylines, I thoroughly enjoyed it because it was able to give us closure of the previous short stories.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

What a story! Laramie is so talented and thorough. She blew me away with all the psychological analysis she has put into this series! I’m excited for Justice and Caelin’s story but next August....really???
