She hates Christmas and everything that goes with it…
Explosives expert Elliana hates Christmas—and the only good thing about this holiday season is that her gorgeous neighbor seems allergic to shirts and clothes in general. She knows because she’s been watching him for months with her drone. She’s never stalked anyone before, but he not only doesn’t seem to mind, he puts on nightly strip shows just for her. When she finally works up the courage to talk to him, she stumbles right into a murder—that he’s committed.
But this holiday is one she’ll never forget…
According to Theo, the whole murder thing is no big deal—the dead guy needed killing. And while her hot neighbor wants her, protecting her is his main priority. So when she’s targeted, this cinnamon roll hitman kidnaps her for her own good. With a deadly threat hunting them and a hot hitman who keeps handcuffing her to him “for her own protection”, Elliana is starting to reconsider her grinchy stance on the holidays. And when everything finally comes to a head, the results are bound to be…explosive.

Elliana and Theo
Great start to the holiday season with this little gem. Elliana and Theo are a delight. Brought together unceremoniously, action and suspense. Choose this story to start the holidays. Hea.
Fun
So fun. Laughed through the entire book. A great couple. Both crazy. All the characters were fun. Didn’t really get the villain, but still enjoyed the story.
How the Hitman Stole Christmas
How the Hitman Stole Christmas by Katie Reus
Holiday with a Hitman series #1. Holiday Romance, romantic suspense.
Elliana is not a fan of the Christmas holiday. Her neighbor seems to be the exact opposite with plenty of outdoor decorations. But it’s really his indoor decorations that Elliana is interested in. She’s been using her drone to spy on him and he’s given her quite an explicit show. Maybe she’ll take him a little Christmas gift so she can actually meet the hottie next door.
Theo Contos knows his neighbor is enjoying their little game of spying. Once he figured out she wasn’t planning to kill him, he wasn’t opposed to giving her a little show and hopefully he can influence her appreciation for the holiday season.
Steamy, amusing and not quite halfway to dark, this holiday novel was a joy to read. And since his entire family and neighborhood is “in the business”, I can’t wait to see what the next situation is that requires a Hitman rescue.
Theo has depth that’s revealed as the story progresses. He goes from single hot mystery man next door, to family man planning for the future. I expected a bit more steam from the teasing start.
