Great Rhyming Story for Kids
“Hugg ‘n’ Bugg Finding Home” is the first in a brand new children’s picture book series by Ian Brown and Eoin Clarke, author and illustrator, respectively, of the Albert the Tortoise series. Hugg is a Himalayan yeti who has completely lost control of his hair and Bugg is a mountain flea in desperate need of someplace warm. Written in rhyme, this series could well fill the void left when Dr. Seuss passed. The narration, by Ian Brown, really brings this out and adds so much to the experience that I highly recommend this Apple Books version for its audio component. I have no doubt that kids will have the rhymes memorized in no time. And with this story’s theme of mutual friendship — each character helping the other — they’ll be learning important lessons as well.
