mixed emotions
as a fantasy genre fanatic, i’ve read my fair share of books like this. it was a quick, easy, and fun read. unfortunately, while i was reading the three book series, i noticed a lot of similarities to Sarah J. Maas’ books. these were probably coincidental but nonetheless, there were quite a lot. i still loved the world, characters, and plot. kudos to the author.
Sweet but needs polishing
Around page 300, I started to wish the editor used more red ink. I read to the end and it got worse as it went.
