It’s always the quiet ones...

I devoured this book in one sitting. My poor family had to fend for themselves until I finished #sorrynotsorry! I loved Adam in Levi’s book. The quiet playboy sidekick, but in Awakened, we finally get to see the sweetheart he really is. Adam is the ultimate bad boy Alpha, who’s been broken in a sense. His one true love ripped away from him, he’s sworn off all relationships…sex only, no strings attached, leave your heart out of it. Until he meets Kelsie, then even he can’t follow his own advice. Kelsie is trying to get her life back from her soon to be ex-husband when she meets the irresistible Adam. He’s sweet and charming and she’s torn what to do about him. Casual sex he said…no strings attached he said…leave your heart out of it he said…too bad she couldn’t follow his advice.
This book will draw you in from page one and hold your heart hostage until you read the final page. It’ll take you on an emotional rollercoaster and have you feeling as if you’re riding along with Adam and Kelsie as they try to rid themselves of the ghosts from their past…but a ride well worth it. Another job very well done by TC Matson. I can’t wait to see what’s next!

Not so Hot
I liked the book, it’s characters, and story. It just didn’t excite me. I wanted more, wanted fire! It was funny and the two were a challenge. Nick should of been more scarier, more drama!
Meh
Adam and Kelsey lack chemistry. The book was better towards the end, but it was not a winner for me.
