One of the greatest series ever made
I was enchanted with every page. I loved Jessica Clues series Kingdom on Fire. The best experience with the characters and Henrietta Howles journey to learn more about her life and her journey to save her world. Thank you for making this wonderful series Jessica Clues!
I have a horrible nag for not finishing book series, tv shows, movie series and so on. The main reason being is that I start to find them becoming dull towards the end. There are some series that really hit off for me and I had no problem finishing. This last book is not one of them. The first two books were amazing, this one felt kinda rushed with very little character development. Specifically speaking of Rook. Throughout the story Rook has been a very important person in Howel’s life but was rarely mentioned throughout the series. He played no major role whatsoever. So much more could have been done with such a character but he was literally just killed off rather plainly. I have 60 pages left and I just can’t find the drive to finish it anymore. I’ll probably come back to it later but eh... I don’t know. It was a great story overall until the last book.
Too frustrating to finish
I loved the first 2 books but this one just annoyed me. There's zero character development. The main character is irritating. I cannot get myself to root for her anymore. She's terrible and an idiot. I found myself internally yelling at her to not do the thing, and then she does the thing. I prefer a heroine that's smart. Also she cannot stop lying about stupid crap. The story felt rushed and aimless. I feel like if the author took more time on this it would've been better. I feel so disappointed.
