Weird and fantastical
14th century so very different and hard to get into. Good translation by Tolkien. Liked the weird words. Story was weird but not nearly as weird as the movie. A lot of pages dedicated to hunting. Not sure if it was deep in metaphor. Anyway an interesting and different read.
Unique
Written like a poem, a very well written story, Sir Gawain, a knight serving on King Arthur’s round table, and his fame of virtue and honor.

The language is somewhat hard to understand. It is an interesting story.
