This book was the perfect finale to the series as the players have come full circle, and because I have loved all of the characters and setting but I think I see a hint of at least one more book coming. It was an amazing mix of characters from past Kait Nolan series and this one (for fans), although this book can definitely be read as a standalone. Hamish and Afton had an old unrequited love when she was a runaway bride (and he was married with a child) until she returns a few years later to find him divorced, moved back home and in need of a temporary nanny. Enter his daughter Freya who is an amazing character playing "parent trap" looking to fix them up and develops a warm loving relationship with Afton. The book was well written with witty banter, heart, steam and all of the feels. I laughed, had "eye leaks" and couldn't put it down. I can't wait for the next one - Enjoy!
