Publisher Description
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Shelly Laurenston follows the explosive success of Hot and Badgered with the second installment in her sizzingly outrageous series, this time featuring a heroine who is half tiger, half honey badger shifter, and fully living her truth.
Petite, kind, brilliant, and young, Stevie is nothing like the usual women bodyguard Shen Li is interested in. Even more surprising, the youngest of the lethal, ball-busting, and beautiful MacKilligan sisters is terrified of bears. But she’s not terrified of pandas. She loves pandas.
Which means that whether Shen wants her to or not, she simply won’t stop cuddling him. He isn’t some stuffed Giant Panda, ya know! He is a Giant Panda shifter. He deserves respect and personal space. Something that little hybrid is completely ignoring.
But Stevie has a way of finding trouble. Like going undercover to take down a scientist experimenting on other shifters. For what, Shen doesn’t want to know, but they’d better find out. And fast. Stevie might be the least violent of the honey badger sisters, but she’s the most dangerous to Shen’s peace of mind. Because she has absolutely no idea how much trouble they’re in . . . or just how damn adorable she is.

PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Laurenston delights in the second Honey Badger Chronicles paranormal (after Hot and Badgered), this one featuring Shen Li, a giant panda shifter and fan favorite. Stevie MacKilligan is the youngest of the three MacKilligan sisters the one they protect. She's a brilliant scientist and musician, but she's also a hybrid shape-shifter with scant control and a panic disorder that includes a nearly irrational fear of bears. Enter Shen Li, one of the few members of the bear species Stevie can tolerate. Indeed, she finds rolypoly Shen cute and nonthreatening. Shen is dubious about Stevie's affection, especially since they're such different creatures. When Stevie concocts a plan to take down a scientist experimenting on hybrids, it falls to Shen to keep her safe, even as the MacKilligan girls deal with an invasion of their criminal family. Zany, sarcastic humor bolsters what is clearly a transition plot. Familiar, well-developed characters and full immersion into the universe make this a must-read for new and returning readers alike.

Hilarious
Love the MacKilligan sisters! Stevie and Shen the panda are a great couple that is if she can convince Shen she’s the one for him. These books will make laugh throughout the books. I’m looking forward to reading Max’s book.
Great
Stevie is one of the MacKilligan sisters. She’s a honey badger, wicked brilliant and terrified of bears. She’s the youngest and the one most likely to get in trouble. Shen is a giant panda bear shifter and a bodyguard. He’s protecting a young prodigy who is best friends with Stevie. She’s constantly trying to cuddle him then starts telling everyone he’s her boyfriend.
When an enemy of Stevie’s gets her to talk to her ex, she wants to find out if he’s killing hybrid shifters. She just has to keep it from her sisters. They are very protective of her. But someone is also after her sister Max and then their no account dad shows up. Can they find the scientist that is experimenting on shifters?
Very funny. Bloody. Sex. Stevie has depression and anxiety. Shen seems to be along for the ride. Of course as with this series, so many point of views. A couple of times I didn’t know what was going on. But I loved it anyway.
Love it.
Action. Comedy. Romance. Bonds.
