Publisher Description
An “uproarious” shifter romance with “intensely satisfying chemistry between the leads” from the New York Times-bestselling author (Publishers Weekly).
Livy Kowalski has no time for idiots. When you shapeshift into a honey badger, getting through life's irritants is a finely honed skill. Until she gets stuck housing her nutso cousin and dealing with her dad's untimely and unexplained demise.
That's where Vic Barinov comes in--or his house does. Vic can't step outside without coming back to find Livy devouring his honey stash and getting the TV remote sticky. It gets his animal instincts all riled up. But he'll have to woo her at high speed: all hell is breaking loose, and Livy is leading the charge…
“Erotically charged…Laurenston builds up her world with a sprawling cast of memorable characters and their over-the-top antics, featuring everything from bear-only towns with Renaissance Faires to shifter roller derby…delightfully zany.”—Publishers Weekly
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
In the uproarious ninth installment of Laurenston's Pride paranormal series (after Howl for It), two shape-shifters are united by a mutual love... of honey. Bear-tiger hybrid Vic Barinov and honey badger Livy Kowalski maintain an odd, sometimes contentious friendship, which is strengthened after Livy's father dies and Vic decides she needs cheering up. Soon they're working together to track down human criminal Frankie Whitlan. When Livy discovers Whitlan's connection to her father's death, it becomes a no-holds-barred mission of revenge. The freewheeling plot is expertly seasoned with heavy doses of raunchy humor, action, and intensely satisfying chemistry between the leads, which naturally blossoms into an erotically charged romance. Laurenston builds up her world with a sprawling cast of memorable characters and their over-the-top antics, featuring everything from bear-only towns with Renaissance Faires to shifter roller derby. While chaotic at times, this delightfully zany novel is anything but disappointing, and Laurenston's fans will gobble it up like Livy with a jar of cinnamon honey.

Fantastic!
Shelley Laurenston is my go-to author when I need the comfort of a good book. Her characters are delightfully and exuberantly vicious; a useful anodyne to what populates most paranormal romances.
Fun
3.5*
Not my favorite book of this series but it is well worth the read. Livy and Vic are a very odd couple but they work. The badgers are hilarious and the Russian bears are comical.
I read most of this series out of order but it still worked. Though if you can read in order, it make it so much more fun!
I love the honey badgers!
4.5 stars. Absolutely love the honey badgers! So funny. My first introduction to Livy, Vic and Shen was through Charlie, Max and Stevie’s visit to Livy’s “safe house/ apartment.” Now I also understand Joan. I love this world Laurenston has created. Non-stop action and humor. My favorite has to be the honey badgers. They are perfectly fine doing their dirt, as long as you don’t mess with their family. Vic is a total sweetheart. Livy is different maybe, but really the same in both stories. I thought she was subdued, and she is, as long as you left her alone. Tough one. Shen is completely different in this book. I like it! I really had fun reading this book. Highly recommend this book and this author. I have yet to be disappointed.
