Compelling and very addictive book to read
I love jim Morrison or anything that has to do with the doors my top favorite bands of all time
Words can't describe...
For the true Jim Morrison or Doors fan, this a must read and you won't be disappointed. Its a very detailed, well written biography about everyone's favorite Lizard King<3
ARE YOU JUST STUPID, MR DAVIS? That or clearly you think we are.
Was stopped dead in my tracks when the author
1. states that Arthur Rimbaud's "brief lifetime ended......in Ethiopia" (it was France). 2. implies his death had something to do with his activities, "as he was trading slaves and running guns to a rebel group." (he died if cancer). 3. writes that Rimbaud died "at age twenty-seven" (he was 37, you idiot).
That last one is a ridiculous grasp at making JM's death at 27 seem mystically preordained. Either the author is a moron, or he thinks we are. If he can't get basic, well-known facts correct, it makes his whole work highly suspect. Any Jim Morrison fan with an equal amount of the effort put into researching this bio could have written this book......from memory and more accurately. SHAME ON YOU, MR DAVIS for going for the rehash fast buck. What a rip-off you are. I would rate this book a zero if were possible to do so.
