From Friendship to an Epic Love Story
Ok, this is book 1 of a 2 book series.
So,
The reason I liked this book so much was because it felt like life. Not a "all things are great" which I absolutely hate. If I wanted to read a fairytale kind of thing. This is completely NOT like this.
There are two main characters that are attending the same university. They are best friends since birth or close to it, gay & do any for each other.
Eden Rain is a hockey player that is gifted at it. His teammates are great, most.
Casey Presley is an archaeology major.
All might look great, but it's not…not even close for either.
They both lost a parent, Eden a mother & Casey a father at a construction accident they both worked. The loss is great, emotions are raw & if you have lost anyone promise this book will bring the tears.
This shows a great book, one that will bring up your own emotions days after you have finished are my favorites.
Being that North Star for each other & only themselves for each other, there was no one else sexually for them. Eden knew it & had for years in secret. Casey a little different. The death of his father was devastatingly numbing emotionally for him. Afraid if he fell in love with another man & that guy die, Casey knew it would literally kill him.
The book is their journey of best friends that are attached at the hip, hold hands going everywhere, sleeping together as limps twisted connecting each other. But it’s not sexual. They have been the others rock for so long, holding each other wherever was their normal.
This is their journey past great friendships.
