Kit can be read as a standalone and is book 2 in the Scarred Hearts series about brooding, vigilante-type heroes. Novels in this series include interconnected characters but each story can be read on its own and has an HEA. Reading them in order is not crucial but recommended.

4 fabulous stars. This is the second book in the series. I have not read book one but I had no problems following the storyline. This is a second chance romance with Kit and Caro as the lead characters. It is well written and the storyline keeps you interested. Now I have to go read book one 😀. I received an Arc copy of this book for my honest opinion.
