Gary Parker looked at the damp hawk in his hands and felt surprised.
He walked over to the window and reflected on his picturesque surroundings. He had always loved dirty Berlin with its hungry, hurt hills. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel surprised.
Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Graham Olsson. Graham was a lovable vicar with wobbly legs and wide eyelashes.
