I loved Luke and Aspen
Man Spread is the 7th book in the One a Man Hunt Series, but can be read as a stand alone.
Vanessa knocked it out the park with this one and this series.
We are introduced to Mr. Dark and Dangerous himself Derek Dashwood. That’s who he is to the acting community but to his friends and family he’s Luke. When he runs into Aspen, a single mom and yoga instructor he was knock off his feet. From the beginning we are hit with their instant chemistry, attraction and Lukes hot mouth and virility. Oh boy, yes please. They are so hot tho get her.
We watch them on this roller coaster of emotions. She’s been hurt in the past, doesn’t trust easily, her family isn’t the greatest. He wants her more than anything. He wants a real relationship with Aspen and had to delicately maneuver the waters. He has somewhat lost his himself, his identity due to his acting career, but I love the work he puts in to find himself. He’s so swoon worthy and tries to protect her at all cost, even if it cost him in the end. Vanessa likes to keep us on the edge. I wasn’t expecting that small plot twist but it does tie the whole story together. I loved seeing the whole clan back together again. Great read.
Lots of fun!
This was a fun book (which is ALWAYS needed)! Fake dating, though only one is faking 😏 Luke is wanting more after an amazing night together, but Aspen is gun shy, so to speak. But when a situation occurs and he asks her to “fake date” him to help him out, he’s gonna totally use that to his advantage 😊. I haven’t read all the books in this series, but I will definitely get on that as soon as I can.
Not so fake after all
Fake dating, single mom, small town, he falls first…Man Spread is full of great tropes and had me engaged from page one. This newest book in the series features tv actor Luke Graham…his real name, not his cheesy acting name. Shepard, sound like soap opera villain, lol..and Aspen, single mom to Sierra. Aspen’s a yoga teacher, kale chip lover who has no idea who this guy she sparked with at a bar is. But there’s chemistry and she’s ready to help him out by faking a relationship with him.
They are adorable, the banter is great and I couldn’t put it down. Might be my favorite of the series!
