I say goodbye to my corporate job and say hello to my new adventure.
Until I meet the town’s grumpy billionaire, Huxley Spearman.
He’s every woman’s dream.
Tall, devastatingly handsome…
But annoyingly arrogant.
And if making a new enemy isn’t enough, there’s more:
My long-lost Mother might be alive.
This bookstore is the money pit.
My checking account is in shambles.
My online friend wants to be more than my virtual crush.
And, somehow, I‘m falling for two different men.
Can love truly grow from a virtual connection? Or will a rough-around-the-edges man steal my heart?
This is a heartwarming tale of love, second chances, and a twist of the unexpected. In this spiritual successor to “You Got Mail” and “Pillow Talk.”

Hux and Enid
I liked Enid and Huxley and enjoyed their story. As noted in other reviews, it is a retelling of a very popular 90's movie but spins it in a very unique and charming way. There is little to no angst (which is neither a complaint nor a sigh of relief...I like it all) from either outside forces or from the couple themselves. I don't think Huxley is as grumpy as others have mentioned, but his personality did surprise me. I thought he was one of the more lighthearted family members. Enid really grew in this book, from the daughter who let her brother and father talk down to her to standing up for herself. Her move to Paradise Bay really allowed her to grow into a stronger person.
For some reason, I thought Meant For Me was part one of a duet...it is not...but the ending seemed a bit abrupt to me. And while I enjoyed the story, this couple didn't grab me like so many others in the series have. I'm predicting that Lysander and/or Cory's story will have throw lots of emotional turmoil at us when it's their turns. I look forward to them both, as well as seeing Hux, Enid and everyone else again soon.
A great read
Every visit to Paradise Bay is a lot of fun. The rough start that Huxley and Enid had made the ending that much better. These two are so perfect for each other.
I will be impatiently waiting to find out what's going to happen with Lysander!!!
The Gamers Find True Love
Claudia Burgoa has done it again! I absolutely loved Meant for Me; it is an incredible enemies to lovers love story. It is the sixth book in her Paradise Bay Billionaire Brothers series. Meant for Me is my favorite book in the series, and I am looking forward to reading the final books in the series. Claudia Burgoa continues to show that she is an amazing storyteller and has once again provided her readers with amazing characters. I love that she continues to write the stories that I love to read. I love all the characters in Meant for Me, they feel like family! Meant for Me filled me with a rollercoaster of emotions, it was impossible to put it down, and I loved every moment on every page. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another? I love how Claudia Burgoa always manages to create the "perfect" heroine, who is a strong woman on her own, to balance out the sexy, swoon worthy men. I really enjoy how the book is told in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing aloud. My favorite moments are the ones that pull at my heartstrings that cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments. Meant for Me is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments that I have come to love and expect in Claudia Burgoa love story, and she did not disappoint, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. Meant for Me is an enemies to lovers love story between Huxley Spearman, and Enid Whitlock. Enid learns of the recent death of her maternal grandmother, Therese Rosenfield and that she has inherited Therese’s cottage and her bookstore, Whimsy and Wonder Books in Paradise Bay, her brother Dan inherited cash from Therese. Enid did not know of Therese’s existence since her mother died when she was a child. Enid decides to quit her job in New York and move into her grandmother’s cottage. While she is unpacking her belongings at the cottage, Lysander Spearman approaches Enid and reaches out to his brothers to help her move her belongings into the cottage. Huxley and Enid meet when he shows up to help her move in and then return her rental van to San Francisco with Benedict Farrow. Huxley had reached out to Therese about purchasing the bookstore and giving her a downpayment, but Therese did not sign the contract prior to her death. Huxley learns about her passing from Ben during their trip. Enid and Huxley are both gamers and have been chatting with one another anonymously as MythicalReader33 and Anonimouse for years. I love how Enid as MythicalReader33 reveals things to Anonimouse without knowing that it is Huxley, and he soon realizes that Enid is MysticalReader33. My favorite part of Meant for Me are the chat sessions between MythicalReader33 and Anonimouse, and the text threads between Enid and Huxley. I love that Enid bears her soul and fears to each of them. Enid is looking for contractors to help with repairs to the dilapidated bookstore and discovers letters that her mother sent Therese. The letters reveal secrets about her mother, Agnes, and Agnes’s relationship with Enid’s father. As Enid and Huxley spend time together working on the bookstore renovations and design, and deciding how Enid will pay Huxley back things change between them. Enid does not have a great relationship with her father and brother and confronts them with the secrets that she has discovered. Her father finally reveals what really happened with her mother all those years ago. I love the chemistry between Enid and Huxley. I love that Enid is torn that that has feelings for two different men, when it is really Huxley. Huxley knows he must tell Enid the truth before he can have a relationship with her but is concerned about her reaction and losing her. I love everything that Huxley and the Spearmans do to help Enid with the renovations and making her dreams come true. I love Enid’s reaction when Huxley finally tells her the truth, and how they both admit their true feelings for each other. I love Huxley’s proposal and the location of the proposal. I love all the hints that were revealed about the next story. I love the characters and the family dynamic in Meant for Me, the characters feel like family and friends. I enjoyed all the interactions between the Spearman family, the characters feel like family and friends. I enjoyed all the interactions between the Spearman siblings, especially their teasing that made me laugh. I love how Cory embraces Enid, even before she knows Huxley’s feelings for her. I loved all the characters in Meant for Me, it felt like a family reunion and catching up with the other Spearmans and the new little Spearmans. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I thoroughly enjoyed Meant for Me, who does not love a enemies to lovers love story that turns into true love? Highly recommend this incredible love story and am so looking forward to reading the other books in the series.
