Fantastic weekend read!

This is book 2 in the Serendipity series and it features Cole and Erin. He’s a loner. He’s an undercover officer, that goes undercover for a year at a time, sometimes. She’s an assistant district attorney. Their one shared night turned into much more than either of them expected or wanted.
This is a fantastic read! Cole was extremely stubborn and like with a lot of characters, in a lot of stories, he struggles with making his feelings known until it’s almost too late. The stalker thread was weak. I wish it had escalated more to give the story a boost in action. Even so, I enjoyed reading it. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.

A wonderful small town Serendipity romance. Loved it 🥰. Good girl Erin is feeling lonely after her brothers wedding and has a wild one night stand with bad boy Cole. Soon after Erin is a victim of random violence, or is it really random? Cole becomes her bodyguard and moves into her house. Their non relationship becomes complicated and so does trying to solve the case. As the case is solved, the reality of what Cole and Erin want for their future is determined.

Erin and Cole were an interesting couple. At first glance, you wouldn’t think that they belonged together but the more that they’re thrown together, the more compatible they are. Their backgrounds are so different. Erin comes from a loving, supportive family. While, Cole, not so much. Will they all be able to come together as a family? Or will the doubts they both have, win?
