When Farah awakens one morning to find her hometown of Brul vanished into thin air, magic is the obvious culprit. Terrified and ignorant to the dangerous world beyond Brul, she sets out on the quest of a lifetime. But to restore her home and family, she must first find a wizard. One in particular has been rumoured to be in the area; Ryker. However, convincing him might not be as easy as she thought. Instead of the brave wizard Farah had admired for years, he turns out to be a roguish troublemaker with a mass of unpaid debts in every town.
