Zack was complaining how he didn’t like children. Yet in the next chapter, he was using her daughter, Meghan to get to Olivia. Zack was just trying to get a ride out of Olivia by using her own daughter against her. Zack suddenly got hit with Cupid’s arrow after insistently declaring he didn’t like Olivia and her daughter. Zack wasn’t built up enough. Within the first 100 pages, Zack somehow ended up with feelings for his neighbors with no actual reason. Zack spoke to his neighbors maybe 5 times and suddenly he is love stricken. Olivia wasn’t built up well either, being mean and not emotional.
