Riordan dips into the deep end of the Olympian pool, forcing the gang to deal with deities who are suitably challenging and petulant. (Their encounter with Hebe, the god of youth, is both hilarious and bizarre.) The stakes aren’t quite world ending, and that’s just perfect for the funny, lighthearted side of this adventure. Chalice of the Gods overflows with the irreverent wit and clever action that have made Percy Jackson a YA superstar.

Well I definitely liked it. still with the Percy Jackson humor. But it was really similar to the old books. But I still liked it. Just that the plot was kinda expected
