Deserving of a second chance
Gwen and Rex drove me crazy. These two have such a deep and natural connection. I wanted to rip my hair out as I yelled for them both to just be honest with each other. Mind you, they both had their reasons to have their walls up. They got together so young and they made mistakes like young people do but neither moved on. I got teary eyed on more than one occasion. The author really knows how to pull on your heart strings. I’m so happy they got there in the end. Their hea was beautiful.

Super hot as always, cause you know Evelyn Montgomery is amazing! Second chance romance of a couple who were destined to be together. This is the story of Rex and Gwen, I recommend giving it a read. It is the third book.

Reckless by Evelyn Montgomery is a second-chance romance. It's the third book from the Can't Help Falling In Love series. It is written well, and was a fast and easy read.
This book is about Rex Roberts and Gwen Coppola. They went to the same school and dated when they were teenagers. Their relationship didn't last because of their family problems and their trust issues. Many years later, one night, a few drinks and lots of memories neither of them could escape, lands them right back where they were as teens and they get a second chance at love. Rex was not going to let this chance go to waste. He was adamant about making this work, he could feel that they were meant to be together.
This was a good second chance about two troubled teens that had another chance at falling in love, after failing as teenagers. But they don’t seem like they’re any better at relationships now, than they were as teens. The plot is engaging with lots of angst and drama and miscommunication. I suppose Reckless is a suitable title given how reckless this couple is with each other's feelings. It's a dual POV and it alternates between past and present. The characters had good chemistry, mostly when they were getting intimate. I liked both of the characters separately and on their own, more than I liked them together. With their second chance I really just wanted them to be a bit more mature and grown, instead of making the same mistakes.
If you like angsty romance then try this out, I recommend it! I gave this book 3 stars. I received a complimentary ARC copy to read for my honest review.
