Red Flags

What an amazing ride. This story keep me engaged and wanting more. While yes there was a few slow points and parts that felt a touch repetitive, they did not take away from the book overall. As the first book by Skye Warren that I have read, I must say it will not be the last. The mix of strangers and willing forced proximity along with the one bed, who wouldn’t enjoy this. The inside or behind the scene look at the circus adds to the whole mystery of the circus lifestyle.

The plot of this story was well written and captivating. There was just the right amount of spicy scenes and steamy moments throughout the whole story. You just got to love a dirty talking man.

I was having my heart broken as the end came crashing down on me. So yes, it does end in a cliffhanger and a kinda big one. For me, book two can not come quick enough.

Now I will remind everyone to please check the trigger warning page before you start this story. Some of the topics listed only come up in passing, while others have a large roll in the plot of the story. So again please just be careful.

Overall I give this story 4 1/4 stars and 3 peppers.

Omg! this book had me hooked at page one!!

Skye Warren is one of my fav authors for many reasons and Red Flags was definitely the perfect sample why. The book was intriguing, mysterious and with a unique setting. The main characters were very unique on their own and the sensual tension between them was delicious.

Sienna portrays the brave, strong and witted girl but in the inside her family problems and old memories make her just a girl who is afraid to trust and to hope for a future outside her small town of Forrester. Her luck changes once Cirque des Miroirs comes into town and the mysterious Logan Whitmere takes an unexpected interest in her.

Logan is the mysterious owner of the circus, throughout the story you get little information about his life and motives but one thing he values the most is his family, which for him is the whole circus. I love how from the very beginning he becomes protective of Sienna and wants to shelter the girl that has evoke a passionate desire of him. But will he ruin her and break her? Is Sienna really safe with him?

This book is the perfect beginning for what I thing will be a magnificent series and after the cliffhanger ending I can't wait for book two.

This was quite fascinating, in a dark and captivating kind of way. Sienna’s life is beyond tough, but turns a bit interesting when the circus comes to town. Logan, the dark, yummy man who owns the circus, helps her one particularly harsh night. He brings her along and she makes her escape. Life is interesting with the circus, but still not easy. Same kind of issues, just with different people. And you can’t always outrun your past. I cannot to find out what happens next!
