Publisher Description
He was her anchor. She was his storm. Together, they were everything—and it still wasn’t enough.
From Chloe Walsh, the international bestselling author of the viral Boys of Tommen series, comes a devastatingly raw, achingly beautiful love story that will rip your heart out and patch it back together.
Lizzie Young has always felt she was too much everything. Diagnosed with bipolar disorder at a young age, she's never fit in with her family, her friends, her community. Lizzie wants to be accepted and understood, but with few family or friends in her corner, she carries her burdens and her trauma on her own.
But when she meets a kind boy on the school bus, things start to look bright for the first time in her life…
Hugh Biggs has an old soul and the wisdom of someone far beyond his years. A young man with a sharp mind and a firm code of ethics, he sees something in Lizzie Young that he can't resist. He wants to be her everything and shoulder her burden. And Lizzie wants that too.
Lizzie and Hugh's bond seems unbreakable — their chemistry is electric, their love is potent, and their connection is soul deep – but even the truest love can be shaken by forces beyond control.

Customer Reviews
One of my favorite books! I love you Lizzie ❤️
Totally recommend, but check for triggers! It touches on many sensitive topics, but they are well explored and written. Be ready to sob until you get a headache and an heartache for what Lizzie goes through. My favorite book character! 🤍
In all honesty..
this was a lot. 😭 The ending is sad, but it is a great start to the relationship that WE KNOW AND HOPE will be coming for them. I just want them to be happy, along with others, and I can’t wait for the rest. Hugh, I have noticed having many people say he isn’t a great friend, which is true but he is a great lover and he can be a great friend to Lizzie once they make up. Lizzie is a bully, hurt people hurt people, but it still doesn’t make it okay. I hope she can make up with all the people she has hurt because she has been hurt, and her and GIBSIE can become friends again and M*rk gets the bad villain ending. I could say so much more, but I’ll leave it at that. I love you BOT!
absolutely soul-crushingly amazing
