Enthralling
My first by Donna Grant, but definitely not my last. I was completely enthralled by this world. And the emotional toll on both Yasmin & Ravi. They start out as enemies, both on their own journeys that become intertwined. Then friends, to then lovers. A slow burn that keeps you on the edge. I look forward to more in this series
Great Book
I am in awe of how Ms. Grant continues to deliver great stories that build from her previous book/series. In this book we see characters from Zora but from a different part of that world; however, she still keeps former characters in the background. Your imagination is captured from the very first page and you just want to keep reading. A definite page turner from start to end. The characters are engaging and you both cheer and cry for them. The story is intriguing. Can’t wait for the next book in the series. Spoiler, there are elves!
Edge of your seat series starter
Ohhhh Emmmm Geeee....this series starter has certainly kept me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next. We have elves...seven different kinds of elves...good elves, bad elves and worse elves. But we also have humans...and this book takes us on the journey of Yasmin (Human) and Ravi (Sun Elf) who must complete a mission. It is filled with magic, mystery, lies, deceipt but it also filled with learning to know someone and finding that what you always believed isn't necessarily true for all individuals....And love growing between of the most stubborn people. But after this battle is over will they make it out alive or are they just too stubborn to admit their love for each other? This is book 1 in the Elven Kingdoms series...it does not end on a cliff hanger but it will be a series that will need to be read in order or you will miss things as it continues. I personally loved this one!
