Salt in the Wound
Publisher Description
The first time I meet the devil, he knows my name.
The second time I meet him, the truth becomes clear: Mark Trevena is to be my husband.
No matter that we don't know each other. No matter that he's older than me; shameless and sinful; the owner of a secret club where the powerful come to play. My father has spoken, and I'll be the devil's bride the minute I graduate from college.
Except my future husband has one condition for this arranged marriage: we have to pretend it’s real.
He’ll teach me, he says. How to pretend to be his in pain and pleasure both. How to pretend to arch and writhe under his touch. But his lessons are teaching me something else entirely…
…that Mark Trevena wants me in a way that's not pretend at all.
And no matter how I might fight it, the devil will have his due.

Spicy Prequel
Salt In The Wound (Lyonesse #0.5) is a quick and spicy prequel to Salt Kiss (Lyonesse #1) and introduces Mark and Isolde. And what an introduction this is considering Mark is a sex club owner with powerful political and business connections in Washington DC and Isolde is a very innocent and pure young woman who has made a firm commitment on being a nun. Her conniving and uncaring father is a wealthy banker who arranged an engagement and marriage between Mark and Isolde for his own selfish needs. Isolde is thrown into the lion’s den when she encounters Mark, and there’s nothing kind, nice or warm about him. Yet he exudes sex appeal and she can’t get him out of her mind. However, there’s no denying the lustful and palpable energy between them. And if you’ve read Sierra Simone’s book before, then you know she has a penchant for deflowering soon to be nuns’ innocence.
This book gives just enough heat to your whet your appetite and panties and I can’t wait to read Salt Kiss to see how Mark and Isolde’s story unfolds. Especially since Tristan will be entering the picture (wink wink).
