SEALs of Honor: Taylor
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
This was a great addition to the series. I adore reading about the SEAL heroes and how they meet their soul-mate. Taylor didn't have to look far. In fact, right across the hall from his apartment is Midge. The timing has never been right for them as Taylor has been going on one mission after another.
In fact, Taylor is just back from a mission and just wants to relax. Midge pops her head in to tell him that he left his door open. She is on her way back to work as there is an emergency. She didn't even make it as far as her door when she got the call. Taylor now notices that her door is open after she leaves. When he goes to shut her door, he smells a familiar smell.
The road to Taylor and Midge's HEA is one that is filled with dead bodies. As the body count rises, so does the feelings between these two. Hopefully they can get to the bottom of who is killing all of these people and what the common denominator linking them together is before Midge becomes a victim herself.
I adored the dual POV format. With all of the intrigue and mystery that these two are dealing with, they internally were showing how they felt about each other while outwardly focusing on the case.
The bedroom scene was basically glossed over and really shouldn't offend anyone unless you just want a pure sweet, clean romance. On that note, I would recommend this book to anyone over the age of 18.
Worth the read!
Good mystery and danger as Taylor, rest off a mission, gets involved with neighbor, Midge when a surprise is found in her apartment. The hunky SEAL takes on the mysterious murder with the help of his SEAL buddies and protects his feisty neighbor from the villain. Loved Midge with her fierce independent and smarts. Taylor is wonderful with Midge and their chemistry sparks a sexy romance. Fast paced action and adventure with a few twists and danger. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC provided by Booksprout.
SEALS of Honor: Taylor (Looking Beyond the Surface)
This is a complicated, page turner of murder and many, many questions -- who, why, and what next. Taylor, a Navy Seal, and Midge, working in a records office at the base, are neighbors in the apartment complex. As their lives intwine, making more and more discoveries, they explore more and more possibilities. Dale Mayer takes the reader down a complicated journey. I opened the book last night and finished it in a day. Bravo!
