Great Read
Once again, Reese Ryan, did not disappoint. I received an ARC through Booksprout for my honest review. First let me start by saying that I love second chance novels. Darius and Audra are both very driven people with a history of a grad school romance that ended badly. Fast forward to a chance meeting while they are both in a small town in Texas on business. They clearly still have feelings for each other and I love the fact that Audra is a free thinker with piercings, that greatly intrigue and attract Darius. When Darius finds out that the business he thought he was in Royal to handle becomes personal, he decides to hang around and spend some time with his newly discovered siblings. There second chance at romance is prodded along by no other than Sophie, Darius’s sister.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and highly recommend it. This was my first in the TCC series but it has piqued my interest and I plan to delve deeper in to the series.
Loved
Audra and Darius have a second chance at what they didn’t five years ago. This is a great read with plenty of drama added to the chemistry. The storyline will keep you interested till the end.
