From the USA Today bestselling author of True, Sweet, and Believe comes a tantalizing New Adult novel about finding love in the most unexpected ways…
Kylie Warner prides herself on being optimistic, but after finding her best friend in bed with her boyfriend and flunking chemistry, her upbeat attitude has taken a dive. Even an impromptu hook-up with her sexy new chemistry tutor only brightens her mood slightly. After all, it’s not like she’ll ever see the tattooed scholar again…
While he’s a whiz at complex equations, Jonathon Kadisch has trouble when it comes to figuring out women. So when Kylie tells him that she’s pregnant after their night of passion, he’s at a complete loss. He’s prepared to be a good father—unlike his own deadbeat dad—but he’s less prepared to fall for the genuine and alluring blonde bearing his child.
With emotions running high, Kylie wonders if Jonathon’s devotion is out of growing love or looming obligation. And when heartbreak threatens to tear them apart, Jonathon will have to fight for the only girl who’s ever made him feel whole…
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
An unexpected pregnancy sparks a relationship in McCarthy's fourth True Believers novel (after Believe), but the resultant trappings of melodrama fail to bring the story to life. College student Kylie Warner, heartbroken over her boyfriend's infidelity with her best friend, has a one-night stand with her chemistry tutor, Jonathon "Darwin" Kadisch. During her subsequent pregnancy, they bond over her ex's attempts to get her back, hyperemesis, and the work and worry of juggling school and baby-planning for both of them. Kylie and Darwin are both such practical, committed, stable people that even the best efforts of a genre-standard, one-dimensional villain can't pull them apart long enough to generate real conflict. The characters are well depicted, but the clich d obstacles in their way make the story forgettable and shapeless.

Enjoyed the entire series
This entire series was fun. Hearing each of the girls stories fall in place with each other in a realistic way was refreshing. There were no long, drawn out, unnecessary breaks....all of it was realistic which made the stories relatable. You don't have to read in any particular order but if you do, you will be able to appreciate the time that the writer took to intertwine all of the girls stories. Definitely recommend.
Loved it!!!
Was good and emotional and loved both characters and the whole group !!!
Loved It!
I loved this conclusion to the True Believers Series! Kylie Warner has been betrayed by her boyfriend, who slept with one of her best friends, who was also a roommate. In order to distance herself from the pain, Kylie has moved into an apartment by herself. She is not recovering well, and this normally upbeat, people loving girl is in a very bad place. On top of that, she is failing chemistry. A tutoring session with genius Jonathon "Darwin" Kadisch leads to a passionate encounter and a pregnancy. Even though he doesn't think he wants a relationship with Kylie, Jonathon steps up and is there for her. As the two spend time together, the chemistry between them flares, and they start to care about one another.
I thought that Kylie and Jonathon were both wonderful characters. Kylie is a very sweet, likable girl, and Jonathon was swoon-worthy. He tried very hard to be responsible and there for Kylie. I loved the two of them together, and enjoyed the steamy scenes between the two of them. The storyline kept my interest and I was very satisfied with the conclusion to the book and series, although I will miss these characters!
