Harvey Weinstein would still be abusing children and young adults today if not for Rose McGowan. She seized an opportunity when an article came up on her computer. When she was a child actress she was abused by Weinstein alone. She had grown into a strong young woman and had a keen understanding of what it was going to take to bring him down. She was willing to do the right thing even if she faced persecution.
The good thing is that Harvey Weinstein is no longer hurting little girls and young ladies and now he is imprisoned for life.

The thoroughness with which this journalism has been executed, recreated here with expert story-telling and an exhibition of the evidence by which the story is framed, is so illuminating, educational, shocking, and inspirational. It’s a wonderfully narrated story that provides context, history, and emotional insight into the various individuals and instances. The story feels almost tangible in this masterful exposition on the exposés of sexual misconduct by three powerful men, as told by women, through the stories of women. Heartfelt gratitude that Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor published this book, and to the multitudes of women who bravely told their stories.
