A nice story, but some things missing and an abrupt ending
A nice plot, but it seemed like the book ended too soon. It was almost as if the author decided the book was getting too long, and just…wrapped it up. Nothing was resolved with Brock’s cousin, even though there were hints that he might have been involved in the twins’ death. Vi lost her beloved stables and business, and there was no resolution to that situation. The main characters suddenly decided they were attracted to each other enough that they could forget about the past and get married.
Shunned No More
I don’t like to write negative reviews because I really appreciate free books, but this was not my favorite. It kind of dragged and then the ending seemed rush. It left me somewhat disappointed.
Fabulous!
Christins McKnight is a jewel amongst Regency Romance writers! I cannot remember when I’ve been so thoroughly immersed in a story and cared so much about the characters, that I never wanted it to end. This is the 2nd Christina McKnight novel I have read. The 1st one had me searching for more by this immensely, talented, writer and I plan to spend the days ahead reading her books, until I’ve read them all. With this plan, I’ve many months of enjoyment awaiting me. Thank you Ms McKnight!
