"Griffin's plot stays hot and moves at quicksilver speed." --Kirkus Reviews
Two Americans in the just-born Office of Strategic Services take on their most important assignment during World War II: to extract--or eliminate--those Germans with the expertise to develop the atomic bomb.
A typical history based WWII novel by this author, but I was very disappointed in the abrupt ending with no finish to the Joe Kennedy B 17 mission. Almost seemed like the publisher just did not print the last few chapters! What the hell?
Very little action on this book. The hardcore espionage part lasted a few chapters.
Several unconcluded stories at the end.
A real waste of time with this book.
