Thoroughly enjoyed this book.
I don’t know how sound the science is, but as a non scientist it didn’t matter. It was believable. I enjoyed the tension and and problem solving which were not predictable As often happens in other books. Be sure to read the epilogue. The story continues after an authors note.
Started out strong, then lost its way
The author captures your imagination in the beginning, then lets you lose interest by over explaining uninteresting characters, project funding, long conversations that end up nowhere…Fool me once…
Horribly disappointing ending!
The majority of the story was great. BUT, the ending was a complete disappointment! The ending is confusing at best. An ending with no clear ending. An author who cannot create a satisfying ending to a story should not write fiction books. I will not read anything else written by this author. My advice to potential readers is to read books by the truly great sci-fi authors, such as Clarke and Asimov instead. Stay away from this author, he will only leave you disappointed, as you throw the book against the wall in disgust at the poorly created story ending.
