Woo hoo…Alexis Abbott is back
I am so glad Alexis Abbott is back, it’s been a few years since she released a book, and her hitman series is one of my favorites. Speaking of hitmen, Stefan is sent to kidnap Jewel, and doesn’t expect to develop feelings for her. This starts a game of keep away from the Bravta, I know right, sounds fun, dangerous and sexy. Yup, it was.
Safe read. With an insatiable hitman and his equally insatiable captive. Good storyline, with a few twist. An epilogue and a hea.
Action packed
It is action packed and drama filled, there’s the Mafia, fighting, shooting, twists and turns, romance, sexy, steamy, chemistry. I voluntarily reviewed a free advance reader copy of this book and gave my honest opinion.
Taming The Assassin !
Jewel just finished her first year at Harvard, so a night out seems in order. Though not her ideal way to celebrate, she goes. Drinking, dancing and wall to wall bodies are definitely not Jewel's scene, but she's here with a friend so it looks to be a long night. Trying to find a reason to leave, this shy, unassuming law student has no idea what is headed her way.
Stefan is a made man within the Bratva. He's done a lot of horrible things, from enforcing to murder. Now he's tasked with kidnapping the one woman he's finding hard to resist. This is not like the hardened assassin. He doesn't have feelings. He only thinks of himself and completing the mission. Jewel is changing him.
Jewel has a hold on Stefan's heart but as a soldier, the Bratva owns his body and now they want his soul.
