The author's note at the end was just as powerful and amazing as the rest of the story, but it shows just how personal this story was for her to write. It seemed to me that this violated the overall thesis of the book. Atomic Habits is a useful book.

Knox, loved him for most of the book. How does she know that Ryle isn't going to be violent with their child? At the risk of saying too much, I’m going to keep it at a minimum. I have read more than one book on this topic and that probably contributed to my lack of engagement. Kenna's pain is portrayed so well within the writing.
